omniEffect's methodologies have been built using extensive experience from working within Oracle development and is based upon Oracle’s Application Process Lifecycle (APL) methodology,similar to AIM, which has been specifically created for scalable Enterprise Application development.
omniEffect divides the project life-cycle into the following phases: Scope & Setup, Analysis, Design, Implementation / Build, Integration, Launch (“Go Live”), Post Launch and Maintenance & Support. Each phase includes documented procedures with specific deliverables.
By monitoring these phases, omniEffect ensures consistent, quantifiable, and verifiable results at any stage of the project. APL can be tailored to create an efficient approach to the majority of all projects, specifically Content-Oriented Application development.
The APL methodology provides a strong roadmap for the project teams to follow. It is not intended to be prescriptive, but has flexibility built into the process.
To meet the challenge of short timeframe and budget constraints, APL can be tailored towards an Iterative development approach. Iterative development compresses the standard requirements gathering and implementation into one “Iterative Build” phase.
